How does it work?

Our app connects to compatible machine consoles via Bluetooth wireless, which can be set up in the app.


Once connected to your machine, you can access training content and other features within the app. Video training includes coached classes that focus on technique and fitness drills for improving your performance

Do I have to buy a new machine?

No, not if you already have access to a compatible machine with a Bluetooth enabled console (e.g. you own one or one is at your gym). 

How much does it cost?

Regatta Fitness is offering a 15-day free trial, after which the subscription is $8.99 per month. If you sign up for an annual subscription, you save even more - $6.67 per month.

How do I physically connect the iPad or iPhone to my rower or other machine?

If you wish to attach your iPad to your ERG for easier viewing, we recommend getting a clamp mount. The Arkon Gooseneck mount ($35 on their website) can easily attach to the monitor arm of the ERG.


To attach your iPhone, we recommend using the Concept2® Smartphone Cradle


These mounts work for other machine brands and many offer on-console trays for holding mobile devices. Please check the manufacturer's recommendations as well. 

Do you offer Live classes?


We do not currently offer live classes from a studio or from coaches, but we do have scheduled races on our RaceTrack™ where the leaderboard is live. In these races, you are racing against others live in real-time.  


We do offer "Live from a Coach" video streaming capability to clubs. Clubs can schedule training sessions and livestream their coaches to their members through our app. 

Can you tell me more about your instructors?

Our instructors are rowing coaches and certified group trainers with deep experience teaching classes that combine cardio, strength and mobility exercises.  Each instructor develops the class agenda and their unique style and specialty to Regatta Fitness.

Do you have rowing expertise on the team?

Our coaches have certifications and/or years of teaching within their respective sports. We also employ certified fitness instructors with backgrounds in teaching live group classes. Finally, all of our coaches have received training on how to teach through video and on the machines that they are using. 

Can you tell me more about your team?

The Regatta Fitness team is composed of an array of individuals with expertise in cross-training fitness, rowing, digital app experience development, brand marketing, and video production. 

Where are you located?

We are headquartered in Boston, but our classes can be streamed anywhere in the world.

How is the CrewTrack™ calculated?

Our class roster - aka "CrewTrack" - stack ranks everyone based on their total power output as measured in Kilojoules using Watts and accumulated time. 

What versions of Android can I use?

Regatta is now available on the Google Play store for Android devices running up to Android 12. We try to support as many Android devices as possible and have tested successfully with most models from Samsung, Google and others, however we are not yet fully compatible with Samsung S21 or Google Pixel 4, 5, 6 - but we are working on them!

What versions of iPhone and iPad does it work on?

For iPhones, we currently support iPhone 13 model and newer generations running at least iOS version 16.0.


For iPads, we currently support iPad Pro Generation 3 and newer generations,  iPad Generation 7 and newer, iPad Air Generation Generation 3 and better, and iPad mini Generation 6 and better. For each iPad model, our app currently works for iOS versions 16.0 and later.

Can I have one account for both Apple and Android devices?

Unfortunately, the Apple Store and Google Play Store are not connected  and we cannot yet offer a single subscription that works for both platforms yet. This is mainly due to restrictions set by Apple and Google, but we are exploring ways to do this for users who have both types of devices. Please contact us to about supporting your Regatta account on both devices. We recommend for now to purchase a subscription on the device you will primarily use it on.  

How do I delete my account?

If you no longer need our app and services, we're sorry to see you go. To delete your account, please follow the guidance within the app. Under the "My Account" page in the menu, there is an option to "DELETE ACCOUNT" - click that and follow the directions.
