What drew you to a career in fitness?
I have been active since I can remember. Taking a desk job after college never exactly fit me and I knew there was something missing. After my office closed and I lost my job, a friend and mentor of mine convinced me to give training a try. After my first class I was hooked and felt at home. To have a direct impact on someone’s physical and mental health on a daily basis is a gift, not a job.
If you were not in the fitness industry, where else could you see yourself?
I am currently a Hospice volunteer and think if fitness was not my full time job I would definitely love to be involved in that field in a larger capacity.
Why are you excited to join the Regatta Fitness team?
I believe fitness classes should be accessible to everyone, no matter where you are or what kind of schedule you are on. I also believe workouts should be balanced and efficient. Regatta Fitness provides both of those. To be a part of a team that will bring this experience to people around the world is pretty cool.
