Ellen is a Mainer who loves to work hard and will always deliver a sweaty class. She's a former collegiate rower (yea IC rowing!) who loves competition and staying fit. Besides rocking on the rower and tread classes at Regatta, she's a spin and boot camp instructor in the Boston area as well.
Her classes are designed to push you to your maximum capacity each week while also having a kick-ass party while doing so. When you take her class, expect team work and support, we will always be in it together. Whether or not it’s pushing during that final sprint or picking up heavier weights off the erg, whatever she asks of her crew, you better believe she will bring that same level of intensity and push. Expect power strokes, sprints, and off-erg work that will leave you feeling strong and confident as you progress throughout our programs. Working out is about challenging yourself, feeling incredible, and finding a new way to connect with others in the current world, and she can't wait to motivate you and share this experience together!
When Ellen is not teaching fitness, you can find her planning corporate events and working at lululemon, beach running with her Australian Shepherd pup Olivia, or sitting on her deck with a glass of wine.
What drew you to a career in fitness?
I'm a people person at heart. I love motivating people to work hard and connect with folks they may not have known in a different setting. One of the best parts of the job is when people surprise themselves with their strength and determination.
If you were not in the fitness industry, where else could you see yourself?
After a long stint in the corporate event planning world, I can definitely see myself going back and becoming a retail store manager!
Why are you excited to join the Regatta Fitness team?
Regatta has a fantastic team of trainers bringing varied backgrounds and experiences that truly make it special and worth investing in taking all our classes. They are science based, smart, and the live classes/ leaderboards are perfect for my competitive nature!
