From a girl who couldn’t run one lap around the track in high school to a marathon runner, Brittany doesn’t ever accept the phrase “I can’t”. Brittany’s passion for fitness developed in her early 20s. In college at UNH, exercise became not only a stress outlet but a means to create a social network. The more her passion for her own health and fitness grew, the more she wanted to motivate and inspire others to learn how exercise could positively impact not only their physical health, but their mental health as well. Brittany is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, a Certified Functional Strength Coach and an Orangetheory Fitness instructor.  She specializes in functional strength training and loves programming total body workouts that will leave you feeling strong and proud. 


What drew you to a career in fitness?  

One day while sitting at my desk where I work as an Executive Assistant I realized that I was not making the kind of significant positive impact that I want to on the world by scheduling meetings and coordinating travel. I wanted to do something that would enable me to help others feel happy, healthy, motivated and alive. It was right then that I registered for the NASM certification program. 


If you were not in the fitness industry, where else could you see yourself?

As a teen who struggled with body image, I’ve always envisioned myself working with teens to build self esteem in a healthy way. I would love to work with teens to help them learn how exercise can build confidence and emotional strength as much as physical strength. 


Why are you excited to join the Regatta Fitness team?

Fitness videos really changed the game for me in terms of my personal fitness. I believe that it is the perfect supplement to any workout program because it takes the travel time out of the equation, leaving you with one less excuse not to get it done! I am excited by the combination of rowing and strength training to create a low-impact, effective total body workout.
